Another Snow day

So an update to my situation, I now love where I work a bit more, as my overhead management, at my work, has went to bat for me and my fellow Navarro employees and gotten us what we feel we deserve!

I am SO excited now and have a great appreciation and love for those 3 people!

YAY!

Earlier this morning:
So today is another day we aren't working, I made it into site but the ice was all over the boardwalk where I work and apparently was a hazard. They then shut down the site and I left and came back home.

The past day or so hasn't been so great. The ladies who are in the same company I am (there are 5 of us) and I feel cheated to no end. We are hoping that our boss's that are with another company but are still over our heads will straighten this out.

It will be nice to see them stand up for us. As they know us better than the company we work for, and actually care what happens to us. I miss the days when our whole company was one. Now we have been sold off to other companies and there are a few different companies on our site. I didn't like it when it happened but what choice did we have? Some people said if you don't like it don't do it, but that would have meant that we would not have a job! It is very sad that some people have that mentality. It would be different if we decided to go to a new company, yes that would be when we would say I don't like it so I am not going to do it!

When you have children you do what you have to do. I love the place I work, I love my co-workers, I loved the company I was with before and would give anything to just be with them again. They knew us, they took care of us, and they never let us down.

Now back to my real life. This morning when I got back there were cows out everywhere! LOL apparently my uncle billies fence is gone sat up back in the 1940's he he ... but he has decided not to help take care of anything so my brother and I are dealing with it. Although if I had known they had all the materials back in the summer my brother and I could have put up the new fencing and not be having this problem now. But my brother was too lazy as he was fishing all year instead of farming.

It seems like I come from a long line of half losers and half farmers! I got the farming jean and all the men got the lazy loser jean! It is sad but true.

I hate being trapped in the house and love to be outside. Although I have my tired lazy days to I don't just sit around and do what I want when I want. I seem to have my priorities straight most days.
