So I stayed at work until 7 pm and then got a call from my cousin Erin last minute to tell me that Emily's B-day party was tonight and I had to rush to wal-mart (who has a birthday party on a monday night?) While there she wanted me to pick her up some medicine and I needed some laundry detergent.
So I grab Emily a presant and high tail it to my house and hurry up and get kailey and head to Erins. It is mainly wes's family and just the kids, of course it is a 3-year-olds birthday party. So Kailey has a great time, Emily loves her little doll, although I wanted to get it in black, my cousin erin was adopted when she was 2 months old about a year after I was born.
We were practically born and raised togeather and I never noticed she was a different color until I was a teenager. I think she is Portarican/black mix, but no one will ever know not even my aunt who adopted her from a hospital in KY back in the mid-eighties. Apparently Adopting a non-white child back in the eighties wasn't very highly liked, but my aunt wanted a baby and she got Danny the same year I was born when he was a few weeks old, and Erin the following year from the same place.
Our immediate family didn't mind it..it was other people who just didn't understand. My aunt couldn't have children because she was stricken with Juvinile diabetes and it messed her up some how and cause a lot of problems for her to successfully carry a child, and the technology wasn't as good as it is now.
Ok so back to Emily she is the cutest little girl got beautiful eyes, geourgeous skin and is very soft spoken... I wish Kailey was like that, but since Kailey was born she has been a loud obnoxious child and since she was way less than a year old she hasn't quit talking.
Either way She is a great little girl and I got her this little baby doll that simulates a baby (like when they are standing in a crib) bouncing up and down, for her birthday. She loved it and I was happy that I got her something no one else had. I wish I had taken the time to get my camera cause I don't think they have hardly any pictures of Emily and the only pictures i have are on my myspace page of the day she was born... most of them got flagged because there are too many perverts out there and I suppose they have something against a new born baby naked! She was just born they don't come out wearing clothing! Or atleast Kailey didn't and as far as I saw (I arrived right after Emily had escaped from Erin) Emily wasn't wearing clothing Either so a few of her pics got flagged because you could see her WHO-HA!
So anyways, I came home, fed animals, did laundry and now its 11:00 and I am doing the bedtime dance with Kailey the child who never sleeps. It seems like the older she gets the worse she gets. She was fully potty trained by the time she was two. Now she had problems peeing on herself and she is 4. She is also staying up till 1 in the morning and fighting with me tooth and nail the whole way.
I have tried lots of forms of torcher to get her to go to bed but none work. There has been the butt whoopins, taking things away, the corner, and yes the no TV! Nothin works! I am soo Tired I can't get to work on time, I can't get up on time, and I can't get on a sleeping schedule myself cause she is keeping me up. I have tried to just go to bed and ignore her, which was the couch, cause Buddy don't want to be disturbed by her! (Yes after I had her he promised to get up with her a night or two, and he would wake up and say please take her out of here)!
So now I am stuck in the re-play that is my life of staying up till almost one getting up between 5 and 6 and making it to work by 6:30 or 7 and sometimes 8. Kailey has cheer for the next 2 weeks, On tuesday instead of Friday. So I have to leave work early to take her to CHEER on tuesdays I work 4 day work weeks. I wish we could just stick to Fridays.
Friday's are normally my hectic days cause I pack all dr.s appointments on fridays and anything else that can not be put off till a saturday is packed into a whole friday. Yes, sometimes I have had to be at my own family physician at 8am, kaileys at 9:30, dental apointments at 10, and Asthma alergy and sinus center at 11:30 and an OBGYN at 1pm so you can see how a friday can get kinda hectic sometimes.
