So today we went to the Sevierville Flea Market.. yes a flea Market those in the west call it a SWAP Meet. Either way I call it back yard breeder, and puppy millers heaven. Can you believe they had dogs up there they wanted 2500.00 for. Some girl asked one lady where the puppies came from the lady said " well im from KY so we get our dogs from all over" what a distant answer.... I wonder how long it took her to come up with that... what she meant to say is well from our back yard, we have 200 yorkie females and 2 males in a small pen and we just free breed them until one dies then we replace it! OR the alternative is we get the dogs from the paper for about 100 bucks we scoop up the cheapest deals with papers, and we then in turn try to sell them for TOP dollar though we know nothing about background or Genetics!
It is a sick market people. If you want a REAL dog adopt one from an animal shelter.. if you want one with papers just to be your lap dog... check the local papers then ask for health certificates on them before you buy one. See the parents ask to see Health certificates on their parents make sure there is no Genetic defect or skin conditions which can only be proved by a thourough work up. Don't spend more than 500.00 on a dog and don't by cross breeds cause that is just stupid you can get a labradoodle at the pound say it with me a labradoodle is a mut cross of a poddle and a lab! So therefore this means the neighbors lab jumped the fence and screwed the poodle for real normally back in the day they would shove the pups in a burlap sack and throw them in the lake or send them to the pound and let them be put to death. GOOGLE the breed and make sure that it is going to be the kind of dog for your family also. If you don't want a hyper dog you may not want a LAB if you want a water sports dog you will love the lab though.
Don't get me wrong all pets need a good home. I have heard bad things about certain dogs that are cross bred. I have a chihuha and he is a great pet for my family! Yes a chihuha. For pit bull people we always hated chihuhas and joked if you crossed a pit and a chi you would get a dog no man could handle lol... I still think this is true for most chi's! But our little chi is a sweet, friendly loves everyone type of dog, not a yapper he don't sit and yap at everything that moves and he doesn't cause trouble.
Remember that most small breeds are hard to house train.. do not let breeders tell you any different, we had a weiner dog and did everything but walked across hot coals to get him house trained and by the time he was 3 he would crap in the house to spit us lol! So with all that said most small breeds are this way you have to be adimit at day one with house training and if you don't have time don't get a small dog. Best to have a fenced in yard to if you want a medium to large dog. It is good for the small dog to!
So they had monkeys up there aswell... these things were awesome. They had KING JULLIAN as kailey said! The ring tail lemur was awesome wearing a little diaper and was soo cute. But of course monkeys do not make good pets. They do not throw poop like all have said before maybe some but there were no poop throwers at the market. It was three Dollars to get in and see them and kailey had a good time.
So this was a good day I got her a PILLOW pet she loves that thing. maybe she will sleep better at night. I don't know why my kid has been on a no sleep at night KICK she wont sleep for nothing. She will stay up till midnight or later and then finally fall asleep from exhaustion.
We finished our Turkey day shopping and I went and got a new deep fryer thermometer. Finally my night is coming to an end.
SATURDAY
Saturday I downloaded my pictures and video from my camera. These were of Friday nights practice it was soo nice to get video so we can practice. We have a parade on the 3rd and a competition on the 11th (my birthday) Kailey is doing well and starting to do way better than she did.
She and I didn't do much on Saturday we went out and she rode her bike she is doing real good with this but she got totally freaked out when i got too far away from her and flipped it over on herself while doing a little freak out. lol. It was funny and sad at the same time.
So after that Anna's husband Leland came over and played video games with buddy and watched football. It was nice having company. Anna's phone was broken and she was still sick. I took kailey out on a dinner date. We went to chineese and then to walmart and that is about all we did on that day.
