Sunday November 28th 2010

So today I am very tired but am up at 8am after going to bed at 4am. I get up and go get coffee and some full-throttle for Buddy. I then get in my shed and there are mice everywhere, I hate this because mice ruin everything.

Don't think we are dirty because we get mice, when you live on a farm mice come in from the field to nest in everything in the winter. We still haven't found a good cat to keep the mice away! We got two and they were a pain cause they wanted in the house. I want one that lives to KILL!!! not birds but mice.

Our Chihuahua (scrappy) is a way better mouser than any cat, he sees a mouse he plays with it, he grabs it up runs across the yard, throws it in the air, lets it believe it is getting away, pounces on top of it, bites it, lets it go again, lets it get a head start and starts all over again... he is hillarious now once it is motionless he has nothing more to do with it cause the fun is over.

I cleaned my whole shed out, got our Christmas decorations out ( yes 4 very large tubs full of Christmas items)! Buddy loves to decorate, even when it is not a holiday he decorates, he has our living room decorated with out-doorsy type items. Deer, bear, and a slew of other old cabin stuff.

So we have lots of decorations. I couldn't decorate a bathroom honestly.

So I finally get the stuff packed into the house and he starts opening each large tub like a kid in a candy store! He is tired so he is a bit more stressed by it than normal.

I leave the house with kailey for a while, we go to the christmas parade down town though we were 15 minutes late we got there at the right time, we got a good parking spot walked over she got candy, there were ponies and santa, lots of floats, old cars, old trucks, wagons with large horses pulling them. We enjoy the parade. Last year we were in the parade, kailey riding buddy saddle on my missed and loved horse Sophia.

For some reason the following below makes this big beasty draft looks really skinny

See! I think it is my crappy cell phone.

Ok after the parade, I went home and packed everything back in the shed, I then left kailey with her father and went to get a present for kailey we found cheaper than Toys R US yes the high ticket items your kids will play with for a limited time can be found on CL. I bought her the Smart Cycle from a guy who his son got bored with it after a couple months, though his son was older than kailey I think she will enjoy it.

It came with 2 games for 40.00. The one on Toys R Us website was 80.00 with no games! Games are 20.00 a piece and we purchased 2 for her on Toys R Us website and she will get this used but in new condition item for christmas! So I got a Kick A** deal a 120.00 item for 40.00! Can you say more stuff for my pumpkin for christmas.. I know I can.

I am very thrifty with money, I shop around and buy at will when it is a great deal! I don't like to pay full price for something unless it is something you wouldn't want of someone elses. Especially when it comes to electronics that you will either get bored with or for your children that they will out grow. Clothes and certian types of shoes to. I am not paying 80.00 for a pair of boots for my daughter, NO, I am going to craigslist or Ebay cause she is going to grow out of those boots and I will just blow another 80.00 or more on another pair. Instead I can buy them in various sizes for 50% off or more from someone else who has taken care of them and their kids out grew them.

I just don't care if someone else used it first! As long as it is still in good, working condition and a fraction of the price I would buy it new (normally with accessories you would have had to buy separately)! I bought my wii with 7 games including wii fit and board and 2 controllers and 1 nunchuck for 200.00! Works great and I love it. So to all of you out there shaking your head right now saying "She is buying used toys for her child for christmas" I am going to have money left over to buy her stuff that she needs or wants that is not a video game she may get bored with or not even use!

So thanks for checking in with my blog! I hope you all have had a wonderful time reading my blogs and I hope your thanksgiving was a great as mine!
