Last Saturday UT FOOTBALL TIME!!!

So while the men folk were out at the UT game ANNA and I and the herd of children went to free day at the zoo... Ill share some pics later of that. But thursday I worked hard to get my hands on some tickets for a very special friend! My friend Toms daughter Mandy and I have become friends on Facebook. She is a very sweet girl I think she is 13-years-old and she had said she would like to go to a UT game as she had never been before. So some of the ladies here at work and I decided we would pitch in and get her some tickets. Also a gentleman pitched in to. So a few people from my work aided in paying for the tickets. She needed a handicapped seat as she is in a wheelchair and I didn't want to inconvience anyone with having to (maybe endanger themselves) carry her up steps at the game or down them :-). So we called and got handi-capped seating for her.

So after the game I met up with them at the Taco bell. It was great cause I had never met Mandy in person just on facebook. I have been friends with her father for 3 going on 4 years. I have met her mother a couple of times and she is also my friend on Facebook as well. So I was excited to meet Mandy. I drug my critter Kailey along with me to meet her. I had given Kailey a talkin to before we got to the Taco bell, as I didn't know how touchy mandy was about being in the wheelchair and honestly figured she probably wouldn't be offended by my 4-year-old eyeing her chair or maybe even saying something.

So I nipped this prob in the bud before it even became a problem. I told Kailey that she shouldn't stare at anyone, because Mandy is in a wheelchair and it wouldn't be nice to stare. She took this a bit overboard though as she didn't look at ANYONE even if they were talking to her. It was kind of funny but she didn't sit still long so no one much noticed it. So here are some pictures, thought I would share them and I hope that everyone likes my blog!

I also hope that Mandy and I can meet up again soon and enjoy a little conversation. I'll try to talk more next time and not have to chase my critter who wanted to spend most of the time in the bathroom!
