Kailey is in 1st grade and Emma is talkin

So here is an update since swim lessons. Kailey is now an official 1st grader. Her teacher is Mrs. Birchfield and she seems very nice. I try to make sure that Mrs. Birchfield knows my concerns. I am SO worried Kailey will have the same problems in Math that I did. When I was in school because of who I was my math teachers just passed me along with D's and F's though they could clearly see I didn't understand how to work the problems.

I would just be frustrated, and finally I just gave up. Apparently it is as simple as showing me properly how to work the problem.... because years later I took a home school math course that showed you step by step how to do it and I learned to do it just fine! It is sad how left behind you can feel just because your teachers don't give a crap thinking that just because your family is the way they are that they already have a lost cause on their hands. I am glad that Kailey has the opportunity to go into school not living in the shadow of ANYONE.

So with that said I hope that the moment she starts having problems with anything that someone out there will help us to address the situation. I want my child to have limitless opportunities to get passing grades! Not pretty much be told your grades aren't good enough and just let her fail.

Emma is trying to walk, and she now says Da Da and Ba Ba.. and occasionally does a ramble like she is actually talking to herself. LOL. Love her little heart. I think she is SO excited that we understand the 2 words she is saying at this point.

Kailey now rides the bus to school... yay for Kailey, she gets on that bus every morning like a big girl and she gets off of it every afternoon like a big girl. I hope she is being good on the bus.

THE HIKE ON SATURDAY
I took Kailey and went on a hike with some co-workers to Andrews balled, then up to clingmans Dome. I am so out of shape but we had a great time. We sure wore our selves out and I am happy I went. I left Emma with my mother. It was a great time. Our Next hike is to Max Patch and then to a hot spring... which sounds fun. I just do not want to leave Emma at home... I miss her too much.

ON TO THE WAR AT HOME:
My CRAZY brother and his CRAZY girlfriend are causing problems. Most people who know my family know my brother lives next door with my grand parents he is a whole year older than me and he lives off of 2 old people. The girlfriends 3 almost 4 year old is out of control, with no discipline.

My brother and buddy do not get along. My brother wants to be friends with him, but buddy can't stand anyone who lies and belks on their responsibilities. My brother is that person. So while Erin was over last weekend on Saturday shaving Buddies hair, the little boy was climbing on the fence. He didn't stop... and finally broke  a panel off of the 3000.00 privacy fence.

Buddy got pissed and went up there and yelled at my brother telling him to keep that boy off the fence. The girlfriend then yelled back "do not talk to my son that way" Clearly she was too far away to hear that her addressed my brother by name and told him to "keep the boy off the fence."

My brothers girlfriend then posted on Facebook that her son was yelled at for NO reason and Shooed like a dog... for the color of his skin??? Where she got that from we are all still not sure because my cousin is darker than he is and she was shaving Buddy's head. Her daughter is darker than he is and she was playing with my daughter.... so now we are racist just not with those two... I havent seen a racist who exludes 2 people from his racism.

Oh and the fanale is that she deleted my cousin erin (who is mixed) off her facebook so she couldn't comment on the post and tell what REALLY happened. I love people like that who want to play a race card everytime something goes wrong. She failed to tell them that her son climbed on the privacy fence... just plainly stated that "it is sad when we have a black presedent in the year 2012 and racist yell at your small child because of the color of his skin. Then she went on to say that her son was just playing and the neighbor yelled over the fence at him for no reason.

Its sad that people have to lie to get the attention that they don't deserve or need. You are just making yourself look bad so let it go.

Oh and by the way they are both just mad cause I put a stop to my brother moving yet another non-working, non-bill paying person into my grandparents house. They can't hardly afford their light bill and the multi-hundreds of dollars worth of medication my grandmother takes as it is. And just about 6 months ago my brother expected my grandparents buy him yet another Vehicle this will have been the 5th or 6th they have bought and paid for but recieve no help from my brother and if they ask for it he yells and goes on at them.

He will be 29 in October. His girl friend has no job and a 3 year old that tears up and terrorizes everything. He broke my grandfathers water faucet down the hill and water ran out everywhere before anyone knew and turned it off. Guess who footed the water bill and the bill for fixing it? My grandfather. Guess how it got broken? No one was watching this 3 year old because they were in the house or wherever, this boy was down at the road hanging off of this water faucet (which looks like an old pump faucet) that was palced there to water the animals in the lower lot. It seems as if this were my child I would feel guilt and responsibility but they dont care.
