Last night I went to Tammy's Pampered chef party, it was fun. I haven't done much otherwise. It is now Saturday... I hate how fast the weekends fly by. Emma hasn't been feeling well. She also had a puffy eye this morning. It was swollen but no bruise I don't know what she did to it.
School these days is SO confusing. First off they want you to give a 4.00 donation to "Join" the PTO.. but then you never hear of PTO meetings or anything. So I sent the teacher a letter telling her I joined the PTO last year but never heard ANYTHING about it after. She replied with "well it is just a donation, not really joining." I am thinking well then do not consider it joining consider it a donation. When you put "JOIN PTO 4.00" I as a parent think that I am going to be joining the PTO and active in it.. wouldn't you think? Apparently not.
They also do not make anything any easier. I wish they would choose a different picture company to do the children's pictures I understand they are raising money for the school but one weird pose that the photographer put no thought into at all... that is not worth the prices they charge!! Better pictures = better money = more money coming into the school.
The daycare right down the road from the school Kailey went there and they did pictures as a fund raiser... we always bought them they did old timey portraits we loved those they did Easter portraits we loved those. They did all kinds of things and they were thoughtful and sweet... we bought them every time. But the ones the school does are the same pose with 200 different kids with the same boring background! WTF?
I asked the principle about it and he said that it brings funds into the school... but the funds could be so much more if the pictures were sooo much better. Just saying.
