So with a new bundle of joy come the bills. There was the over 500.00 to get my IUD put back in, over 100.00 to the anesthesiologist. I now owe Pediatrix obstetrix (the people who cared for Emma in the hospital) over 500.00. Buddy is still laid off, he got laid off Friday before Emma was born, she was born 2 days later on Saturday Night Sunday morning, a few hours past the Due Date I had told my doctor and 5 days shy of the due date he told me!
So lets just put it this way with an FMLA check coming once for me while I was on Maternity Leave and then him getting unemployment we lived hard and are still struggling to stay afloat. Luckly i am breast feeding or we would have the burden of formula.
I have now worked 6 days straight and I dont intend on being here sunday. I wish I didn't have to work overtime, I wish that I could do something else to make extra cash that I love! If staying at home with miss emma was a choice I would take it in a heartbeat. I love her little butt... she is such a sweet baby and every minute with her is rewarding.
This morning I was sure she was going to laugh. These are the many things you miss the firsts of when you work, I DID NOT miss her first smile but am sure to miss the first laugh, when she rolls over for the first time, when she crawls for the first time, those kinds of things she will hopefully save for mommy!
I am hoping to get a used van my truck is too crowded for hauling car seats and stuff. It has a backseat but it was made for butts not carseats so I am happy to get a van. I know I only have 2 children but I need room for other people. Like Buddy's mom when she comes in. If she has briar and olivia there will be extra room for them. People keep saying you want a van? I don't care it is a vehicle to get me from point A to point B... I am not a teenager and when I was I owned a van an 8 passenger it was an old van with the bench seats and I loved it because it was a car to drive around in and it held all the people I could fit in it lol.
People who view cars as a social club thing are stupid. I don't care if I pull up in a two seater with kids strapped to the hood it is what got us there and no one died!! lol. So NO I am not embarrassed to drive a van! ha ha.
I went out with my lady friends last night, we went to HOOTERS for Tangela's birthday. Oh what fun. My friend queet kept saying "I told yall she was crazy" no I am not crazy, I just don't give a damn, there is a difference. I had fun and when we left hooters I jokingly said "sorry if i O'Fended anyone or EMbarrASSed anyone, next time I will just appologise in advance" LOL. I have fun when I go out.
I want to go to the comedy club next though I think it will be fun. I enjoy a good laugh and most of the time I am really good at giving laughs. we live such a short life to not laugh enough to remember. When I am old and dieing at a nursing home somewhere I want to be able to say "oh I remember that time when we laughed so hard at....." not "oh I remember that time the dishes weren't done and the house was a cluttered mess and I couldn't get the strength to climb my ass off the couch and do something about it."
Well another short sweet post. I am hoping to put up more pictures of my baby girl tomorrow I need to take more pictures of her she is already 12lbs. One day I will look back at this post and be like she is 100 lbs now and I miss the 12 lb her. lol
